How to build a PC application using the Telegesis AT Command Set

The command line of the ETRX2 can be accessed using any terminal software program such as HyperTerminal.

To speed up evaluation Telegesis provides its own Terminal Application Software program which allows enhanced functionality especially suited to the ETRX2 modules.

Example software frontend application and source code

To further reduce time spent developing a frontend application, Telegesis has written a very simple application in Visual C++ using Visual Studio 2008 to be used with the Development board and ETRX2 module supplied in the Telegesis ETRX2DVKA or Plus kits. The source code can be downloaded for free from our website.

This Demo Terminal Application only works for Telegesis R300 firmware onwards - based on ZigBee Pro.

For instructions on how to use the AT-Commands read the ETRX2 wireless meshing module user guide for R300 and onwards.

Buttons and equivalent AT Commands are:-

LEDs ON = ATS18=0000

LEDs OFF = ATS18=00F0

Send BCAST = AT+BCAST:00

Read Register S1A = ATS1A?
